Jimmy Neesham requests Indian fans to resell WC final tickets

New Zealand’s all-rounder Jimmy Neesham is excited to play the final of the World Cup 2019 in front of their own crowd.

Neesham took to Twitter to ask all the Indian fans to resell their tickets online and requested them to not seek high profits to give a chance to all the genuine cricket fans to witness the grand finale of the mega event at the Home Of Cricket.

“Dear Indian cricket fans. If you don’t want to come to the final anymore then please be kind and resell your tickets via the official platform. I know it’s tempting to try to make a large profit but please give all genuine cricket fans a chance to go, not just the wealthy,” he wrote.

According to the ICC, 41 percent of the final of World Cup 2019 at Lord’s were bought by Indian cricket fans. Due to India exiting from the World Cup, Indian fans probably would not come to the stadium in numbers.

It is pertinent to mention here that England and New Zealand are playing for the first time against each other in the World Cup final. The world of cricket will see a new champion on Sunday [July 14].
